Frame node
A frame node is the structural junction where the main parts of an ExoSett frame meet.
It connects columns, beams and other attached elements while maintaining the geometry of the frame and transferring loads between them.
How it works
Frame nodes are positioned at defined intersections within the accommodation frame. Depending on their location, they may connect structural members extending vertically, horizontally and through the depth of the building.
Loads from cassettes, beams, roofs, facades and bracing systems pass through the nodes into the surrounding frame. The detailed shape and internal structure of each node provide the required load paths between its connection points.
Nodes may also provide attachment points for accommodation cassettes, lashings, facades, roofs or installation equipment. Their connections are designed to support accurate assembly, inspection, maintenance and controlled disassembly.
Each node occupies a defined address within the frame. The physical component installed at that address may be repaired or replaced while the location and structural role remain unchanged.
